The final workshop for our summer herbalism series will be held on Sunday, August 9th from 9am to 11am.
Learn practical ways to use herbal preparations for common everyday concerns! This workshop focuses on building confidence in selecting and applying herbal remedies for minor injuries and at-home first aid. 🌿
What You’ll Learn
Building a simple home herbal first aid kit
Salves for cuts, scrapes, burns, and bites
Poultices and compresses
Herbal teas
Tinctures for first aid applications
Choosing the right preparation
Safety considerations and contraindications
When herbal care is appropriate and when professional medical care is needed
Participants will learn to prepare a poultice or compress and practice selecting remedies for common scenarios. We’ll also compile an herbal first aid kit checklist to bring home. All herbs and materials are included in the price of the workshop.
