🌿 Backyard Herbalism Summer Series, Workshop 1: Harvest, Dry, & Blend

The first workshop for our summer herbalism series will be on Sunday, June, 28th from 9am to 11:30am, or noon.

Learn how to properly harvest, dry, and store herbs from the growing seasons to preserve their medicinal properties. We'll discuss selecting quality herbs, recognizing peak harvest times, and creating balanced tea blends for flavor and wellness. 🌿

What You'll Learn

• When to harvest leaves, flowers, roots, and seeds

• Drying methods and equipment

• Proper storage and shelf life

• Understanding tea categories:

  • Nourishing

  • Medicinal

  • Aromatic

• Basic principles of tea formulation

• Flavor balancing

Participants will experiment with combining different herbs and will take home their own custom tea blend! All herbs, materials, and containers are included in the price of the workshop.
